In September 2005 Westpac ( one of Australia’s leading banks ) launched their Carbon Credit Programme here at Gap Range.

On the 29th November 2005 the Governor of NSW Her Excellency Prof. Marie Bashir AC planted the first tree in the Aaron McMillan Grove for Medical Research.

The cost of a tree is $55-00, $44-00 of which goes to the Cure for Life Foundation, an organization for research into brain tumours started by Sydney neurosurgeon Dr. Charlie Teo. The remaining $11 goes to Landcare Australia who co-ordinates the planting and care of your tree.

We invite donations to help in this very worthwhile cause and we do encourage other business and companies to establish their carbon credits here on the property. Our hope is that both the environment and medical research will benefit from this project.
