The Formal Avenue of Trees – The Walkway, was planted in October 1992 using New Zealand Hybrid Willows.

WINTER months- These magnificent trees are very bare and upright. From mid –june to the end of August the colour theme is of yellow bulbs – different varieties flowering at different times.

SPRING time and the trees themselves are covered in tassles of yellow flowers. The theme at their base in the flower beds is mainly a carpet of blue.

SUMMER time and it becomes a shady cool green retreat from the hot days - highlighted by white hydrangeas.

AUTUMN – a mass of falling yellow leaves covers the entire area on the eastern side of the glass studio much to the delight of small children.
